OPEN GYM

During open gym, you can work on anything you want, at your own pace. All equipment is available to be used, band and age restriction apply.

 

All Youth Must have 3 youth level 1 classes before they can attend open gym.

General Open Gym Rules:

The Ninja Warrior area is available for ages 16+ to use during any All Ages or Adult Open Gym

Youth students ages 6-12 must obtain their White Band (3 classes) before attending an Open Gym

RESPECT THE GYM

  • No Food/ Drink/ Gum in the gym

  • Don't hang on the yellow sprinkler pipes

  • Do not slam boxes or drag boxes in the gym. If you need help please ask a coach

  • Stay within your comfort zone. Many of the people that you see training here have been doing so for many years. Take it slow. Become familiar with our gym and it's many different obstacles/structures

  • If you are ever unsure about anything, please ask a coach for help. That's why we're here!

AIRTRICK SAFETY

  • No Shoes or Socks permitted on the Airtrick. 

  • Do not bounce or step on edges and corners of the Airtrick

FOAM PIT SAFETY

  • No shoes allowed in the foam pit

  • When you take off your shoes make sure they go into a cubbie, not on the ground

  • No Diving or landing on your stomach in the Foam pit

WATCH OUT FOR THOSE AROUND YOU

  • Look before you leap. The gym can be a busy place at times. Be aware of others training around you. Ask a friend or coach or use strategically placed mirrors to help you with blind spots.

  • Do not play Tag. Chasing people or running blindly through the gym is dangerous to you and others 

PAD YOUR FALL ZONES

  • Use mats underneath you at all times until you have more formal Parkour training. Please respect our equipment by using mats appropriately. Do not drag mats across the gym, please ask a coach for help. Mats under you while swinging on bars is very important.

WHITE BAND RESTRICTIONS

  • DROP RESTRICTION: Waist height

  • RAIL RESTRICTION: Ground and 2 ft. rails

  • FLIP RESTRICTION: Foam Pit, Airtrick, Porta-Pit

  • BAR RESTRICTION: Hanging from Youth Bars

  • No jumping from the wooden structure to the Youth Bars

EARTH BAND RESTRICTIONS

  • DROP RESTRICTION: Shoulder height

  • RAIL RESTRICTION: 3 ft. Rails

  • FLIP RESTRICTION: Waist height to 8" or thicker mat

  • BAR RESTRICTION: Hanging from Youth Bars

TREE BAND RESTRICTIONS

  • DROP RESTRICTION: Head height

  • RAIL RESTRICTION: 3 ft. Rails

  • FLIP RESTRICTION: Waist height to 8" or thicker mat

  • BAR RESTRICTION: Hanging from Youth Bars

WATER BAND RESTRICTIONS

  • DROP RESTRICTION: Reach height

  • RAIL RESTRICTION: 6 ft

  • FLIP RESTRICTION: Waist height to 4" or thicker mat

  • BAR RESTRICTION: Hanging from Adult Bars (w/ 12" mat underneath)
